Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective functioning of the school network system.
• Evaluate and plan IT needs in alignment with the School Strategic Plan.
• Conduct training and instruction with respect to digital devices and software.
• Oversee the IT support team and coordinate ICT management activities.
• Keep abreast of DET IT initiatives and participate in PD.
• Prepare recommendations to the Principal and School Council on IT issues.
• Manage IT grants and related accountability requirements.
• Ensure safeguards for responsible device use and data management.
• Be accountable for performance of allocated IT tasks.
