East Kimberley College in Kununurra, WA, seeks a Program Coordinator - Coach – Mentor to lead school-wide improvement, develop and review teaching and learning strategies, and build staff capability through professional learning and mentoring of graduate and new teachers.

You will collaborate with the Principal and leadership teams to implement curriculum, pedagogy and assessment initiatives, strengthen student outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within a rural community

Qualifications

• Be a registered teacher with the Western Australia Teacher Registration Board.
• Experience leading teaching and learning initiatives.
• Experience mentoring graduate, beginning, and untrained teachers.

Responsabilités

• Promote the school’s vision, priorities and goals across the school and wider community.
• Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of improvement strategies aligned with the Business Plan and identified student cohort targets.
• Provide expert advice on curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and evidence-based teaching and learning.
• Coordinate and facilitate evidence-based professional learning through action learning, communities of practice, instructional coaching, classroom modelling, observation and feedback.
• Undertake a teaching role as required and support literacy and numeracy programs.
