YMCA Victoria is seeking Casual Educators for our OSHC Before and After School Care and School Holiday Programs in the Metro region—Ashburton Pool & Recreation Centre and Boroondara Sports Complex. This casual role runs 4 January to 22 January, with shifts from 6:30am to 6:30pm and an hourly rate from $40.59 plus super.

As an Outside of School Hours Care Educator you will support engaged learning, build positive relationships with children and families, and work with the OSHC team to deliver

Formación

• ACECQA-approved qualification or enrolling in ACECQA-approved course.
• First Aid in Education & Care Setting certificate or equivalent.
• National child safety training - Foundation training.
• Victorian Working with Children’s Check – employee check.

The hourly rate for the position is between $40.59 p/hour onwards (depending on your qualification & experience) + ECEC retention payment + super.

Y Victoria is currently seeking Casual Educators for our Before and After School Care and School Holiday Programs within our Metro region - Ashburton Pool & Recreation Centre and Boroondara Sports Complex. This is a casual position, and the school holidays vary across 6:30am - 6:30pm from 4th of January - 22nd of January. The hourly rate for the position is between $40.59 p/hour onwards (depending on your qualification & experience) + ECEC retention payment + super.

As an Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator you will be dedicated to empowering young children and have a passion for providing engaging experiences. Supported by the OSHC team and an experienced Coordinator, you will enhance positive relationships with children, families and the school community while facilitating our Before and After School Care sessions and School Holiday programs.

What will I need?

• You’ll need to have either completed or be working towards an ACECQA-approved qualification (see the link below) – or willing to enrol in a course
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)
• Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting & Other Obligations Early Childhood
• National child safety training - Foundation training
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check – employee check
