Bass Coast Specialist School in Gippsland, Australia, is seeking a Facilities Cleaner to join the Facilities Management Team. The role covers cleaning tasks and minor maintenance to keep the school safe, functional and attractive for students, staff and visitors.

You will supervise a facilities trainee, coordinate with service providers, and ensure compliance with OH&S and child safety standards while maintaining confidential handling of records and orders.

Formación

• Ability to work with diverse staff and students.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Solid understanding of OH&S and safety compliance.
• Awareness of Child Safety Standards and Mandatory Reporting obligations.
• Must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).

Responsabilidades

• Maintain daily/weekly cleaning schedules to a high standard.
• Supervise the facilities trainee while performing cleaning tasks.
• Identify and report maintenance issues before they escalate.
• Ensure all repairs and tasks meet safety and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with service providers and the Facilities Management Team.
• Liaise with the Administration Office and other staff as required.
