Government schools is seeking a Facilities Cleaner for Bass Coast Specialist School in Victoria to maintain a safe, hygienic learning environment. The role involves hands-on cleaning and coordinating service providers under the direction of campus leadership.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a sound knowledge of OH&S and child-safety standards, including a valid Working With Children Check.

Qualifications

• Capacity to work collaboratively with staff and service providers.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Sound understanding of OH&S legislation and compliance requirements.
• Awareness of Child Safety Standards and Mandatory Reporting obligations.
• Must have a valid Working With Children Check (WWC).

Responsabilités

• Ensure that daily, weekly, monthly, termly and yearly cleaning schedules are adhered to and completed to a high standard.
• Supervise facilities trainee undertaking cleaning tasks.
• Identify and report maintenance issues before they escalate.
• Ensure all minor repairs and maintenance works are completed to a high standard and meet compliance requirements.
• Manage and plan the work of service providers as required.
• Regularly liaise with the Facilities Management Team.
