Transport for NSW is seeking a part-time School Crossing Supervisor for Ultimo Public School. You will supervise crossings during peak times, helping keep kids safe, and engage with the local school community in all weather conditions.

The role offers 20 hours of supervision per fortnight, with pay including superannuation, and may include holiday compensation during Terms 1 to 3. Training, uniforms and equipment are provided, and you will need to obtain a Working with Children Check and other

School Crossing Supervisor - Part time - Ultimo Public School

In this Role, you’ll Become a Road Safety Hero that is held in very high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of our kids, parents, teachers, and local motorists. You’ll also grow to be a much-loved familiar face around the school with a unique opportunity to touch the lives of countless families.

Ultimo Public School shifts fall between the school zone hours of 8:30AM – 9:30AM and 2:30PM – 3:30PM, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon. School Crossings require 20 hours of supervising per fortnight. You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation, and you will also be compensated during school holidays from Terms 1 to 3.

About you

You’re a community minded person who would like to contribute. You’d get a kick out of making community relationships, keeping kids safe whilst earning a weekly wage for doing something you love and enjoy. You’re reliable and prepared to show up for your community - in good or bad weather. You’ll display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers.
