St Bernard's Catholic School, Berowra Heights is seeking a canteen employee to support daily canteen operations at our Berowra Heights campus.

This temporary part-time role (12 hours per fortnight) runs from late January 2027, requiring strong organisation and communication skills and a commitment to safe, healthy food service for students and staff. Training in food safety and first aid is required. Experience with online ordering and stock control is valued.

Qualifications

• Food safety certification required prior to commencement.
• First aid certification applicable to education settings.
• Ability to manage daily canteen stock and food handling safely.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for all areas of canteen operations.
• Ordering and maintaining stock, including online ordering.
• Food storage, preparation and maintaining a clean canteen.
• Ensure up-to-date knowledge of food handling requirements.
• Facilitate a healthy eating program in line with Healthy School Canteens.
