Responsibilities

• Safely operating College buses to transport students and staff on scheduled daily routes, sporting fixtures, excursions, and special events.
• Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle safety checks and reporting any maintenance or defect issues promptly.
• Maintaining accurate logbooks, attendance sheets, and route documentation as required.
• Ensuring vehicles are kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
• Managing student behaviour during transport to ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment.
• Adhering strictly to transport regulations, road safety legislation, and College policies and procedures.
• Assisting passengers with safe boarding, disembarkation, and luggage/equipment handling where required.
• Responding calmly and professionally to traffic delays, schedule changes, or unexpected situations.
