Job summary

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support schools across the Diocese in creating engaging learning environments. The role leverages the school calendar with holidays aligned to term dates, and it offers opportunities to travel to remote communities in Far North Queensland.

You will coach teachers, observe practice and provide feedback to embed inclusive strategies for students with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current registration or eligibility with AHPRA is required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills are essential.
• Experience supporting children and young people with diverse learning needs is desirable.
• Valid Driver Licence and ability to travel within the Diocese are required.

• Coach teachers through observation and feedback to strengthen capability.
• Embed inclusive practices to lift learning outcomes across schools.
• Travel within the Diocese to support schools across Far North Queensland.
