Mediix in Cairns is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our paediatric team. This role focuses on delivering child-centred therapy to support sensory, motor, and cognitive development.

You will work with families and educators, document outcomes, and participate in regular team reviews. Full AHPRA registration and paediatric experience are preferred; new grads are welcome.

An inclusive and highly respected child development centre in Cairns is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans for children with sensory, motor, and cognitive needs.

What You’ll Need:
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in paediatric therapy (new grads also encouraged to apply).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and commitment to ethical, client-centred care.
  • OTs on visa 417 seeking regional work are welcome to apply.
Desirable Experience:
  • NDIS experience highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with sensory integration, play-based therapy, or school-based support.
