Job summary

You will support students to access the curriculum through therapeutic supports in class, collaborate with transdisciplinary teams, and contribute to school improvement and staff development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered OT with AHPRA.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Minimum 1 year OT experience in a relevant setting.
• Ability to work in a school environment with diverse needs (incl. ASD and intellectual disability).

Responsibilities

• Support students to access the curriculum by implementing therapeutic supports within class programs.
• Collaborate with transdisciplinary teams to deliver programs and interventions.
• Contribute to school improvement initiatives and staff development.
• Deliver and/or contribute to professional learning for school staff.
• Support communication between home and school for students.
