Job summary

Belvoir Special School in Wodonga is seeking a Graduate Occupational Therapist to provide a comprehensive OT service within a school environment. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess student needs, develop goals, and implement therapy plans aligned with DET guidelines.

Strong communication with students, families and staff is essential. You will contribute to program development, documentation and progression reporting, supporting students with intellectual disabilities

Qualifications

Graduate Occupational Therapist delivering a comprehensive OT service in a school setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families and staff.
Ability to assess student skills and maintain treatment plans and reports per DET guidelines.
Ability to develop and implement school-based occupational therapy programs.
Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team to support school initiatives.

Responsibilities

Manage the design and delivery of occupational therapy services to students with intellectual disabilities in a school setting.
Collaborate with teachers, families and health staff to implement OT plans.
Document assessments, progress and outcomes in student records.
Contribute to school programs and student support initiatives.
