Job summary

UGL Pty Limited in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Scheduler to strengthen delivery planning and field execution across its Victorian Utilities Operations & Maintenance portfolio.

You will coordinate resources, maintain schedules and optimise workforce utilisation, reporting to the Senior Planner and collaborating with supervisors and field teams to ensure accurate scheduling and efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience within the Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) is highly regarded.
• Understanding of permits, access requirements, workforce planning and crew deployment.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with FSM or ERP systems.
• Experience using Power BI or the ability to develop reporting capabilities.
• Candidates from electricity, water, gas, telecommunications, rail or civil infrastructure environments are encouraged to apply, particularly those with rosters, fatigue requirements, unionised workforces and field-based operations.

New Role Supporting Business Growth Across Victoria's Utility Operations As UGL continues to grow its Victorian Utilities Operations & Maintenance business, we're introducing a dedicated Scheduler position to strengthen delivery planning and field execution across our expanding portfolio delivering overhead powerline maintenance work.

Reporting to the Senior Planner, you will work closely with supervisors, crew leaders and field teams to coordinate resources, maintain delivery schedules and optimise workforce utilisation across multiple work programmes.

This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate scheduling, identifying constraints and supporting efficient field delivery.

The Role You'll be responsible for transforming work-ready activities into effective delivery programs while balancing resource availability, operational constraints, customer requirements and commercial outcomes.

What you’ll be doing
