Job summary

Five Star Scaffolding is seeking a Scaffolding Supervisor to oversee safe, efficient project delivery from start to finish. You will lead scaffold crews, coordinate with builders and clients, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and WHS requirements on multiple jobs across Sydney.

You will read scaffold plans, supervise erection, modification and dismantling, and mentor team members to achieve high performance while maintaining records of inspections and incidents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a Scaffolding Supervisor or Senior Scaffolder role.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and working within strict deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret scaffold plans and drawings.
• Current High Risk Work Licence (Scaffolding).
• Current White Card.
• Current Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate scaffold crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Oversee the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with Australian Standards, WHS legislation, and company procedures.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inductions.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
• Liaise with builders, site managers, clients, and other trades to coordinate project requirements.
• Read and interpret scaffold plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Monitor project progress, workforce productivity, and resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate records of scaffold inspections, variations, incidents, and completed works.
• Mentor, train, and support scaffold team members to achieve high performance standards.
