Job summary

HRMU Scaffolding & Labour Hire is seeking hands-on Scaffolding Leading Hands for residential and commercial projects across Sydney. You will lead a crew, plan daily tasks, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Successful applicants will have solid scaffolding experience, a current High Risk Work Licence, a Construction White Card, and proven leadership abilities. An immediate start is available with competitive hourly rates of AUD 55–70.

Qualifications

• Solid scaffolding experience on residential or commercial projects.
• Experience leading a crew or readiness to step up.
• A current scaffolding High Risk Work Licence appropriate to the work.
• A valid Construction White Card.
• Clear communication, sound judgement and a reliable approach.
• Driver's licence and access to a vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew through scaffold erection, modification and dismantling.
• Plan the day's work, allocate tasks and organise gear.
• Work alongside the team and keep jobs moving efficiently.
• Read and work from scaffold plans and site requirements.
• Maintain safe work practices and check the quality of the crew's work.
• Communicate with site supervisors and flag issues early.
• Guide less experienced scaffolders and set the standard on site.
