Job summary

Buildsafe is seeking an experienced scaffold labourer to join our residential construction team in Sydney. You will bring a permanent work right, a valid driver's licence and hands-on scaffold experience to the site.

Loading/unloading trucks, interpreting building plans, installing/dismantling temporary safety structures, and completing reports and method statements form the core duties. The role offers progression toward a Leading Hand with bonus schemes.

Qualifications

• Must have permanent work rights.
• Experience working with Scaffold is essential.
• Basic Scaffold Licence is highly advantageous.
• Truck Licence is highly advantageous.
• Experience in residential construction.
• Ability to work Mon-Fri (~40-50hrs/wk).
• Experience leading a crew is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks, ensure equipment matches the gear list and loads are secured.
• Transport, interpret building plans, and install/dismantle site safety products.
• Submit reports, maintenance records, and work method statements as required.
