Job summary

The Development Coach, Swimming at SASI leads daily coaching and development for nationally identified pathway athletes, including both para and able-bodied swimmers. You will optimise training environments, maximise SASI facilities, and support progression toward Olympic and Paralympic benchmarks.

Reporting to the Sports Programs Lead, you will coordinate para swimmer initiatives, talent identification, and collaborate with national sporting bodies to strengthen performance pathways.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day coaching and development of pathway athletes.
• Progress athletes towards podium performances at international events.
• Coordinate talent identification and development across para and able-bodied swimmers.
• Lead coaching for para swimmers within the SASI program.
