You will bridge business needs to SAS System concepts, work with relational/NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and cloud tech, and apply data manipulation, visualization, and ETL practices.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, clear communication, and teamwork, with a degree in IT/CS/Data Analytics and SAS certifications being highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with SAS Viya platform, products, architecture, supporting technologies and implementation best practices.
• Ability to associate business requirements to technical concepts and capabilities that pertains to SAS System applications and end-user needs.
• Specialized in front-end programming frameworks such as Angular or ReactJS.
• Good knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, scripting languages, open-source programming, REST APIs and cloud computing technologies.
• Technical Expertise: Integration of prevailing external SAS technologies with SAS solutions; SAS Visual Investigator; data manipulation, statistical analysis, data visualization; ETL and data warehousing; Python for data engineering is a plus.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities, detailed data analysis and reporting.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Clear written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Education: Degree in IT/CS/Data Analytics or related field; SAS certifications desirable; experience at EL1 level or equivalent.
