Job summary

A leading technology firm in City of Melbourne seeks an experienced SAP Testing Lead. The role involves defining the SAP testing strategy, leading testing phases, and managing defect lifecycles for large-scale S/4HANA and ECC transformation programmes. Strong candidates will have over 12 years of SAP testing experience, particularly in leadership roles, alongside proficiency in test governance and automation tools such as Tosca and Jira. The ideal candidate will report to senior stakeholders, ensuring quality assurance and business readiness throughout testing phases.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of SAP testing experience, ideally in leadership.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA, ECC, and relevant SAP modules.
• Proven track record in managing SAP transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Define SAP test strategy, governance, KPIs, and quality standards.
• Lead testing phases (SIT, UAT, regression, hypercare).
• Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution.
• Oversee test teams and vendor performance.
• Drive test automation and tooling.

Responsible for leading end-to-end SAP testing strategy, governance, and execution across large-scale S/4HANA and ECC transformation programmes. Ensures quality assurance, risk mitigation, and business readiness across SIT, UAT, regression, and cutover phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Define SAP test strategy, governance, KPIs, and quality standards
• Lead SIT, UAT, regression, and hypercare testing phases
• Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution
• Oversee test teams and vendor/SI performance
• Drive test automation and tooling (Tosca, Worksoft, CBTA, ALM, Jira)
• Ensure integration, data migration, and risk coverage
• Report progress to senior stakeholders and steering committees

Key Skills
