Job summary

Job description

The Information Technology team at Sigma Healthcare is responsible for the design, implementation and support of all of Sigma’s technology stack, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP S/4 HANA, decentralised EWM, SAP SaaS products, Salesforce, Retail POS within Chemist Warehouse and a multitude of supporting applications. We are a team of approximately 350 dedicated staff, supplemented by external IT organisations to provide a cohesive ecosystem of solutions to our business.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of SAP Supply Chain Technology, the SAP Solution Lead – SD and MM will play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s SAP S/4HANA supply chain capabilities.

This role is responsible for the end-to-end design, delivery and ongoing optimisation of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM) and associated Logistics Execution (LE) solutions. Combining strategic solution leadership with hands‑on functional expertise, you will ensure SAP solutions are scalable, reliable and aligned with evolving business needs.

Working closely with business stakeholders, integration teams and delivery partners, you will drive the adoption of standard SAP functionality, manage solution design and govern any necessary deviations. As a senior member of the SAP Supply Chain Technology team, you will help strengthen the organisation’s SD and MM frameworks, lead enhancements and projects, and ensure seamless integration across SAP modules and the broader application landscape.

• Own the end-to-end solution design for SAP SD and MM, with close alignment to LE and other integrated SAP modules
• Lead solutioning activities by translating business requirements into pragmatic, standard SAP-based solutions

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for an experienced SAP professional who can combine strong technical expertise with a practical understanding of business and supply chain operations. You’ll ideally bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Wholesale or a related discipline.
• At least five years’ experience working with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
• At least two years’ experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) and Logistics Execution (LE).
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA SD particularly around Pricing, Rebates ,Contract and Settlement Mgmt. and MM, including Fiori-based functionality.
• A solid understanding of SAP configuration, integration across SAP modules and connectivity with non‑SAP systems.
• Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end supply chain, order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay and commercial processes.
• Demonstrated experience leading solution design and delivery across multiple projects or initiatives at the same time.
• The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions and provide clear, practical recommendations.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and enhance business processes.
• Relevant professional experience in a similar SAP solution leadership role, with the confidence to contribute both strategically and hands‑on.
