Job summary

Medibank Private Limited in Victoria, Australia seeks an experienced Senior SAP Payroll (ECP) Consultant for a 12-month fixed-term contract to lead design, configuration, support and transformation of SAP Payroll solutions.

You will act as a trusted advisor to Payroll, HR, Finance and IT stakeholders, ensuring accurate, compliant payroll outcomes while supporting day-to-day operations and payroll transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in SAP Payroll, ideally Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Strong expertise in payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, IDOCs, G/L posting, STP, terminations and payroll reporting.
• Proven experience in payroll production support and project delivery.
• Experience with payroll integrations and regulatory compliance in Australia.
• Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors EC, PCC, Workforce Software and S/4HANA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert production support for SAP Payroll (ECP), resolving complex payroll issues and ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance.
• Configure and maintain payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, finance postings, and integrations.
• Lead payroll solution design, requirements gathering, and delivery for system enhancements and transformation projects.
• Support payroll testing activities, including SIT, UAT, regression, and parallel payroll runs.
• Manage legislative updates, including STP, Payday Super, taxation, and superannuation changes.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver best-practice payroll solutions.
