Job summary

GWG Recruitment is seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst for a hybrid role in Newcastle, NSW. The role is hands-on, working with SAP and Excel to manage inventory data and support the SAP-driven supply chain processes.

You will collaborate with Inventory, Purchasing, Maintenance and Master Data teams, produce Power BI reports, and handle data cleansing, reconciliation and BAU analysis. Initially a three-month contract with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using SAP within an inventory, materials or supply chain environment.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
• Previous experience across inventory, MRO, materials, purchasing or broader supply chain.
• Experience with Power BI reporting would be highly regarded.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.

BAU work supporting an established Data team

This is a hands‑on role that would suit an experienced Inventory Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Materials Analyst or Coordinator who is confident working with SAP and Excel and enjoys getting into the detail of inventory data.

The role

Working closely with Inventory, Purchasing, Maintenance and Master Data teams, you will:

• Extract, validate and analyse inventory and purchasing data from SAP

About you

The key to this role is strong SAP and Excel capability, combined with an understanding of inventory, materials or supply chain.
