Job summary

Planet Pharma in Brisbane is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving and inventory control on-site. You will receive and verify incoming materials, prepare kits, and help maintain clean, organized warehouses while adhering to GMP.

The role requires SAP proficiency, a high school diploma, and several years of materials handling experience. Shift is 6am–2:30pm; contract-to-hire for 3–6 months with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of related materials handling/processing experience.
• At least 2+ years of shipping/receiving or clerical experience.
• Proficiency in ERP systems including SAP.
• Ability to organize department for efficient workflow and timely responses.

Responsibilities

• Handling and processing of incoming materials during receiving.

• Maintain inventory areas in clean and orderly condition.
• Monitor and replenish manufacturing inventory locations.

• On-site in Brisbane. Shift is 6am - 2:30pm

Position Summary:

The Material Handler supports the company's material handling by coordinating the functions of shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Receives and verifies incoming materials, supplies departments, and prepares and ships finished products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Handling and processing of incoming materials as part of the standard receiving process.

· Picking and preparation of materials and products for production and shipping activities.

· Preparation and maintenance of production material kits.

· Receive, document, and process all field returned devices in a timely fashion to expedite complaint handing efforts.

· Maintaining shipping, receiving, raw materials inventory and finished goods areas in a clean and orderly fashion.

· Monitor and replenish manufacturing inventory locations.

· Perform material transfers and their appropriate data entry activities.

· Active involvement of all cycle counting and physical inventories, including generation of applicable documentation and reports.

· Utilize the barcoded data collection system for receiving, warehousing, cycle counting, and material picking workflows including related labeling.

· Package final product according to written specifications.

· Maintain inventory records.

· Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

· Comply with written company policies and procedures.

· Participate and lead process improvement processes related to inventory control.

· Other duties as needed or required.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent experience is required.

· Minimum of 3 years of related experience in materials handling/processing in addition to experience in computer tracking of materials and the use of spreadsheets and charting software.

· At least 2+ years of shipping/receiving or clerical experience.

· Proficiency in ERP systems including SAP is required.

· Organize the department for the most efficient flow and timely response to assignments.

· Strong analytical/reasoning, organizational, multitasking, and written/oral communication skills.

· Good negotiation, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.

· Ability to work effectively with others and be a team player.
