Job summary

XPT Software Australia is seeking an experienced SAP Archiving/ILM specialist to lead end-to-end archiving initiatives across ECC and S/4 environments. The role requires deep expertise in ILM retention management, testing, deployment, and archival strategy.

Candidates should have strong analytical abilities and hands-on experience with SAP HANA, SQL optimization, and cloud ILM storage across AWS S3 or Azure. Collaboration with business stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 8-15+ years of SAP Archiving/ILM experience across implementation, deployment or support.
• Experience in at least two end-to-end SAP Archiving projects in ECC/S/4.
• Strong knowledge of ILM retention management and decommissioning.
• Experience with archiving testing, deployment, and cutover activities.
• Familiarity with AWS S3 or Azure ILM stores and content/archive servers.

• Define ILM strategy and archiving rules in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with functional teams and clients to ensure timely delivery.

Job description

Must have minimum 8 -15+ years of relevant experience with good analytical skill having experience in SAP Archiving/ILM Implementation, Deployment or Support projects.

Should Have Worked In At Least Couple Of End-to-end SAP Archiving Implementation Projects Preferably In SAP ECC/ S/4 System(s) Having In-depth Knowledge In The Below-mentioned Areas

• Experience in the reporting tool for the effective retrieval of archived data.
• Expert in handling unstructured data solutions.
• Hands on experience on archiving testing process.

• Creation of Rules & Policies through ILM and Defining the Archiving strategy along with the execution and monitoring of the Archival jobs.
• Knowledge in the ILM scenario like ILM Snapshot, Conversion, GDPR implementation, Retention Management & Retention Warehouse.
• Knowledge in the Audit area for the custom specific requirement.
• Knowledge in the Handling of Policies in ILM for the object specific requirement like Company Code, Sales Organization & Plant level.
• Knowledge in the Blocking and the retrieval of the archived data through PBS & AIS.
• Experience of handling PBS add-on, PBS server and PBS configuration
• Experience of working with AWS S3 or Azure Blob ILM store
• Knowledge on working with content/archive servers like OpenText, IBM, KGS etc will be good to have skill.
• Experience of archiving assessments and solutions including third party solutions in the market
• ILM system decommissioning experience
• Structured and unstructured data archiving experience e.g. DMS, archive link and GOS attachments
