Job summary

Precision Sourcing Australia in Sydney is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Lead to own the solution design and delivery of SAC for a client transformation project.

You will lead the SAC workstream from requirements workshops through to deployment, combining hands-on analytics development with technical leadership and planning delivery in partnership with functional specialists.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP Analytics and BI experience.
• Hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) expertise.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA.
• Strong planning knowledge and security model understanding.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops to define KPIs, dashboard use cases and planning requirements.
• Design SAC solutions with appropriate live or import connectivity for sources like S/4HANA and Datasphere.
• Lead hands-on development of dashboards, calculations, filters and interactive experiences.
• Set visualization, usability and accessibility standards; incorporate business feedback into the backlog.
• Lead planning model design and configurations in partnership with functional SMEs.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops to define KPIs, dashboard use cases, reporting journeys and, where applicable, planning requirements and user acceptance criteria.
• Design SAC solutions, selecting the most appropriate live or import connectivity, data models and consumption patterns for S/4HANA, Datasphere and other agreed sources.
• Lead hands‑on development of optimised stories, dashboards, calculations, filters, drill‑downs and interactive experiences, applying scripting where required.
• Establish visualisation, usability and accessibility standards; demonstrate prototypes and incorporate business feedback into the delivery backlog.
• Where planning is in scope, lead the technical design of planning models, versions, data actions, multi actions, allocations and calendar processes in partnership with functional SMEs.
• Design roles, teams and data access controls with security specialists; coordinate content transport, lifecycle management and deployment readiness.
• Own estimates, development standards and technical reviews; mentor developers and manage dependencies with data platform and functional teams.
• Lead data validation, performance tuning, testing and defect resolution; support user acceptance, training, go‑live and operational handover.

Experience & Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP Analytics and BI experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Experience with SAP Datasphere, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA and broader SAP reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of SAC Planning, security models and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and communication skills.
