Job summary

Subway Shop at Penrith is hiring a Junior Sandwich Artist to prepare and serve delicious Subway sandwiches and greet guests with excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

No prior experience required as full training and Subway University courses are provided. This temporary/casual role offers a clear career path within the franchise and opportunities to progress to supervisory and managerial levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or retail is desirable but training will be provided.
• Must be friendly and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained to Health & Safety standards.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Till Operator.
• Monitor stock levels.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Follow security and safety procedures.

Job Introduction

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable but not essential because you will receive full training and undertake various University of Subway® courses. What's more important is a winning attitude. If you're currently working in retail or in a restaurant, perhaps you are studying or have recently graduated and are looking to start a career in the food industry. This could be the perfect opportunity for you!
