Beaches Lash Co. Manly and Newport NSW is seeking a proactive Salon Operations Coordinator who will also perform beauty treatments. The role involves managing day-to-day salon operations, rostering, stock control and client care in a busy boutique environment.

We welcome experienced Beauty Therapists or Senior team members looking to step into leadership. Travel to Newport may be occasional; the position offers flexible hours (full-time, part-time or casual) with weekend considerations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of beauty salon experience.
• Experience with brow and lash treatments.
• Strong leadership potential.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to balance clients with operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day running of the salon.
• Support recruitment, interviews, onboarding and team training.
• Prepare and maintain staff rosters with owner approval.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate salon orders.
• Manage appointment flow, therapist utilisation and daily priorities.
• Support the team with client concerns and operational issues.

Join Our Growing Boutique Beauty Team by the Beach

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people focused Salon Operations Coordinator to support the day to day running of Beaches Lash Co. Manly and Newport NSW. This role will be primarily based at Manly but some travel to Newport may be required on an occasional basis.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Beauty Therapist or Senior salon team member who is ready to take the next step in their career. Previous salon management experience is welcomed but not essential. However, we’re looking for someone with strong initiative, leadership potential and the confidence to keep a busy salon running smoothly.

Reporting directly to the owner, you’ll work both on the salon floor treating clients and behind the scenes to support the team, maintain standards and coordinate daily operations across the salon.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the day to day running of the salon.
• Supporting recruitment, interviews, onboarding and team training.
• Preparing and maintaining staff rosters with owner approval.
• Monitoring stock levels and coordinating salon orders.
• Managing appointment flow, therapist utilisation and daily salon priorities.
• Supporting the team with client concerns and operational issues.
• Ensuring salon presentation, cleanliness and treatment standards are maintained.
• Helping implement salon procedures, promotions and business initiatives.
• Communicating team updates and escalating important matters to the owner.
• Supporting team performance, motivation and accountability.
• Stepping in as the main point of contact when the owner is unavailable.

The ideal person will:

• Have 4+ years of beauty salon experience and highly competent in brow and lash treatments.
• Be confident, organised and calm under pressure.
• Show natural leadership and be comfortable providing direction.
• Have excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Be reliable and capable of making sensible day-to-day decisions.
• Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs doing.
• Be comfortable balancing clients with operational responsibilities.
• Want to develop into a more senior leadership position.

What We Offer:

• $36–$50 per hour + Super, depending on experience.
• Saturday penalty rates and incentives.

• Some Saturdays are required in peak season, but this role does not require every Saturday.
