Job summary

Beaches Lash Co. in Manly and Newport NSW is seeking an organised Salon Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of the salons.

This role will be based primarily in Manly with occasional travel to Newport, combining on-floor client care with behind-the-scenes operations. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in a beauty salon, is confident, organised and calm under pressure, with leadership potential and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of beauty salon experience and brow/lash competence.
• Strong initiative, leadership potential, and calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Able to balance clients with operational duties.
• Willing to develop into senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day running of the salon.
• Support recruitment, interviews, onboarding and training.
• Prepare and maintain staff rosters with owner approval.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate salon orders.
• Manage appointment flow and therapist utilisation.
• Support client concerns and operational issues.
• Ensure salon presentation, cleanliness and treatment standards.
• Help implement procedures, promotions and business initiatives.
• Communicate team updates and escalate matters to the owner.
• Support team performance and accountability.
• Step in as main contact when the owner is unavailable.
