The Shire of Strathbogie seeks a Saleyards Assistant to support the Technical Officer – Operations in the day-to-day operation of the Saleyards. The role is part-time (up to 48 hours per fortnight) and temporary for six months, with Band 3 pay and $65,959 per annum pro-rata plus 12% superannuation.

Ideal candidates will have livestock industry experience, ability to develop spreadsheets, and solid knowledge of industry standards and OH&S principles.

About the Role: Support the Technical Officer – Operations in the effective management and day‑to‑day operation of the Saleyards, ensuring its facilities, services and activities are maintained to a high standard to meet the needs of users and Council.
