Job summary

Reef Marine in Mackay, QLD, is seeking a full-time sales role in the marine industry. The team sells big brands in boats and outboard motors and is based in South Mackay.

You will provide customers with options to help select boats, outboards and trailers, with training offered in sales, products and selling techniques. Working hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with half Saturdays on rotation, in a fast-paced environment with a team of 20.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in quoting, pricing and packaging of products.

• Quoting, pricing and packaging of products.
• Boat yard presentation and stock displays including boat trailer assembly when required.
• On-Water testing and demonstrations.

Reef Marine is Central QLD's largest marine dealer. Our store consists of a modern, fully equipped workshop with the latest test and service equipment, an extensive spare parts and chandlery section and knowledgeable sales and finance department.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Provide our valued customers options to assist in choosing their new outboard motor, boat and trailer package.

Sales experience - Quoting, pricing and packaging of products

A passion for boating is an advantage - please address this in your application.

8am -5pm Monday to Friday and half Saturday's on rotation with other team members.

Communicate on the phone and in person to maintain customer relationships.

Demonstrate a polite, keen and knowledgeable persona to assist people of all ages.

Boat yard presentation and stock displays including boat trailer assembly when required.

On-Water testing and demonstrations.

Other retail sales or administration duties as may be required.
