Job summary

Jayco Mackay, North Queensland’s leading caravan dealership, is seeking an enthusiastic salesperson who loves caravanning and the outdoors. You will help customers choose the right caravan or camper trailer and drive sales of new and used Jayco units using our CRM system.

You'll join a friendly, locally owned family business with strong local reputation, staff discounts, and opportunities to purchase caravans at staff pricing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or customer-focused role.
• Confident, friendly, honest, and enthusiastic personality.
• Well presented and well spoken.
• Strong computer skills and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Sell new and used Jayco caravans and camper trailers.
• Use CRM to manage customer relationships and follow-ups.
• Assist with online advertisements and yard displays.
• Display yard management and stock preparation.

We are a locally owned family business with a strong reputation built over many years serving the Mackay region.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing professional salesperson who loves caravanning, camping, and the great Australian outdoors.

You’ll be helping customers choose the right caravan or camper trailer for their travel plans and lifestyle.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a professional sales or customer-focused role
• Confident, friendly, honest, and enthusiastic personality
• Well presented and well spoken
• Strong computer skills
• High level of literacy and numeracy

Caravan industry experience is preferred but not essential. We’re happy to train the right person.

We encourage experienced sales professionals from other industries to apply — we value attitude, commitment, and customer service above industry experience.

Your daily responsibilities will include

• Sales of new and used Jayco caravans and camper trailers
• Using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
• Assisting with online advertisements
• Display yard management and stock preparation
• Customer handovers and product demonstrations

Working hours

Monday to Friday plus Saturday mornings (until 12:00pm).

You will receive one rostered weekday off per fortnight.

Remuneration

Your remuneration package includes a base salary plus uncapped commission, with additional bonuses available for achieving sales targets.

High performers can expect earnings of $110k+.
