United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Salesforce Senior Developer for a 12-month contract in St Leonards, Victoria. The role focuses on delivering SFDC solutions, integrating systems, and maintaining a robust Salesforce Platform Stack.

You will collaborate across IT and business teams, contribute to DevOps practices, and implement security and scalability considerations in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Salesforce Developer with hands-on experience.
• Minimum 6 years as Salesforce Developer or equivalent.
• Experience with Omnistudio, Apex, Visualforce and SF declarative tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to document technical specs and tests.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements and design solutions.
• Develop in Salesforce using standard and custom tools to extend Salesforce.
• Maintain Apex, LWC, Flows; develop new standards.
• Work with DevOps and release management tools (Gearset, GitHub).
• Create UI with Lightning pages, Aura Components, LWC.
• Integrate systems via Salesforce APIs or Mulesoft Composer.
• Follow Salesforce best practices; write tests and documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies; use Jira, ServiceNow, DevOps tools.

The Information Technology (IT) function is seen as an important enabler to the achievement of the company’s mission. This is driven by the requirement of the organisation to meet the changing needs of people with complex health or aged care needs and our employees within a growing geographically diverse organisation and across a continuum of care.

The role of Salesforce Senior Developer is to support within the Mission and Mission in Action of the company to ensure that the company gets the best value from its investment in SFDC solutions .

*This* is a* maximum term contract for 12 months* based at St Leonards* with hybrid working opportunities.

What you will be doing

• Collaborating with the stakeholders and the technical team to validate business requirements and solution design with any development considerations (security, scalability, limits)
• Develop in Salesforce using standard automation tools and custom development tools based on specific requirements to extend Salesforce to support business requirements
• Maintaining existing Apex, LWC, Flows, etc ; setting new standards as required going forward
• Work with devops and release management tools as required (gearset, github )
• Custom User Interface development, including Lightning pages, Aura Components** and Lightning Web Components
• Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs or Mulesoft Composer to integrate with other systems used in the organization
• Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development
• Engage with all Agile Ceremonies within a release cycle to implement and deploy updates to existing applications and code, utilising Jira, Service Now, devops and test automation tools as available
• Peer review development work completed by internal team and delivery partners Collaborate with other IT disciplines including service delivery, infrastructure, security, other application developers or partners, data and BI analytics and partner development teams
• Integrating and maintaining business applications within our Salesforce Platform Stack such as Mulesoft Composer, FormAssembly , Conga Composer, Conga Sign, Experian, Amazon Connect and Google API
• Coll aborate with other IT disciplines including service delivery, infrastructure, security, other application developers or partners, data and BI analytics and partner development teams
• Support the Business Champions, Salesforce Administrators, System Analysts, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Technical Lead, Technical Architect, and partner consultants in any capacity required as needed when working as part of the team

About you

• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II Omnistudio Developer
• 6 years minimum working as a Salesforce Developer or equivalent experience
• High level communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well to solve problem within a team
• Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle
• Experience developing in Omnistudio , Apex, Visualforce, Javascript , and SF declarative automation tools
• Ability to write, update and interpret technical specification documentation and test scripts
• Experience with Confluence, Jira and DevOps
• Able to work independently and as part of a teamA willingness to learn and continue grow your skills in this role and as a Salesforce Professional

Desirable

• Certification or Experience in Health Cloud
• Experience in the Aged Care, Health Sector or Non-profit organisation
• Competency in HTML, CSS, SQL, Javascript , REST and SOAP-based web services
• Java, C++, .NET or other Object Oriented programming experience
• Familiarity with developing on other cloud platforms, such as MS Azure or AWS
• Contribution to open-source projects, or personal project in a good state of development
