Job summary

Sierra Cloud, a new Salesforce partner, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team in Australia. You will own the configuration, customization and implementation of Salesforce applications while collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

You will work in Agile scrum teams, build complex business processes using native Salesforce tools, and contribute across all phases from design to deployment and post-production support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, proficient in Apex.
• Proficient in SOQL and SOSL for data retrieval.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and best practices.
• Experience with Visualforce pages and components.
• Strong Lightning experience and custom Lightning Components in Aura.
• Salesforce administration experience.
• Understanding of OO coding, design patterns.
• Salesforce ADM and Dev certified.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Salesforce development including configuration and implementation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build Salesforce solutions.
• Translate solution designs into configured customer solutions meeting acceptance criteria.

Job Description

ABOUT SIERRA CLOUD We are a new Salesforce partner looking to expand our operations in Australia and are looking for some amazing talent to help us grow DESCRIPTION

• You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of Salesforce development including configuration, customisation and implementation of applications.

Role also includes collaborating with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in Salesforce that support business requirements and processes for continuous improvement.

• You’ll be responsible for turning the program design of our Solution Architects and Technical Architects into a configured solution that meets the customer’s acceptance criteria.
• Working predominantly in Agile scrum teams, you’ll be building out complex business processes using native Salesforce technology and the toolkit of the Force.com platform.
• You’ll be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle - from low-level design and development through to deployment and post-production support.

KEY SKILLS

• 1. Min 3+ years of experience in salesforce and Fluent in Apex. Extensive experience developing custom Apex Classes and Apex Triggers.
• 2. Fluent in Salesforce Query and Search Language (SOQL and SOSL).
• 3. Firm understanding of Salesforce Governor limits, limit monitoring, and best-practices for limit-informed development.
• 4. Experience developing Visualforce pages, Visualforce components and Customer Controllers.
• 5. Fluent in Salesforce Lightning. Extensive experience developing Lightning Components - both within the Salesforce Lightning Design System and by writing custom Lightning Components in Java Script within the Aura framework.
• 6. Experience with Salesforce administration.
• 7. Firm understanding of Object Oriented coding standards, Design Patterns, and similar best practices.
• 8. Salesforce ADM & Dev certified
