About the role

Due to continued business growth and increasing client demand, Elders Insurance Penrith is seeking a Sales Support Officer to join our team.

In this role, you will support the day-to-day management and servicing of client accounts, assist with policy administration and claims activities, and help deliver a high standard of customer service across our diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

Client Relationships & Customer Service:

Manage client enquiries and deliver exceptional customer service across phone, email and face-to-face interactions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through professional, responsive and timely communication.

Policy Administration & Account Management:

Process quotations, new business, renewals, endorsements and policy changes in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

Assist with the administration and servicing of client accounts, ensuring a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.

Maintain accurate client records, correspondence and file notes within Salesforce.

Claims Support:

Assist with claims lodgement, coordination and client communication throughout the claims process, with ongoing training and support provided.

Agency Operations:

Support the day-to-day operations of the agency through general administration, banking, receipting and office support activities.

Contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist with maintaining efficient agency processes.

Compliance & Professional Standards:

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and professional standards.

Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a safe, professional and compliant workplace.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience within the general insurance industry (preferred but not essential).

Strong computer literacy with excellent attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ability to obtain satisfactory Police and ASIC clearances.

Tier 1 or Tier 2 General Insurance accreditation, or a willingness to obtain.
