That’s Amore Cheese is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative for the foodservice channel in Metropolitan Melbourne. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting our Italian-style cheese products in foodservice and retail sectors.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the foodservice sector and is likely to have a passion for cheese, with an autonomous, results-driven approach and the ability to manage a client portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the foodservice sector; develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty; conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth; meet or exceed sales targets and goals.
• Client Management: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly; conduct regular client visits to understand their requirements and promote new products; create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of That’s Amore Cheese products and their applications; educate clients about the features and benefits of our cheese products; stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
• Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions; collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless order processing and delivery; internal CRM for planning daily activity.

That’s Amore Cheese, an Australian company leader in Italian style cheese is currently seeking a Sales Representative (Foodservice channel) to join our growing business!

Based in Thomastown, we are passionate about delivering high-quality, delicious cheeses to our customers across various sectors, including foodservice and retailers. Our commitment to excellence and innovation has made us a trusted name in the industry.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our foodservice channel team. This role is crucial for driving sales growth and expanding our market presence within foodservice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service with experience in sales and a passion for the food industry.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, this is a great opportunity to join the That’s Amore Cheese family which provides opportunity for growth and development. Occasional weekend work may be required to attend trade shows and events.

In this role you will be allocated an area of Metropolitan Melbourne. This role includes a fully branded vehicle, phone and tablet. This role is predominantly an on the field sales job.

About You:

• Strong knowledge of the foodservice sector is a MUST
• Ability to speak fluent Italian is highly desired
• Highly organised and experienced with managing your own portfolio of clients/accounts
• Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role, preferably in the food industry
• Excellent phone manner and communication skills
• Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
