Job summary

Waterco is seeking a confident Sales Representative to cover the Gold Coast in Queensland. You will manage and grow sales across pool builders, retailers, wholesalers and trade customers, spending significant time on the road visiting sites and branches.

You’ll work with internal teams, receive training across our product range and help customers select the best solutions. This role suits someone with pool & spa or related industry experience, excellent communication, and a proactive,

Qualifications

• Experience in pool & spa, trade, tools, plumbing, irrigation, or building materials industries.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated hunter/farmer with a track record of meeting targets.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales in the Gold Coast territory across pool builders, retailers, wholesalers and trade customers.

Are you a confident, customer-focused salesperson who enjoys building strong relationships and winning new business? Waterco – a global manufacturer and supplier of pool, spa and water treatment products – is looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join our Queensland team, covering the Gold Coast area. This role would suit someone with experience in pool & spa, trade, tools, plumbing, irrigation, building materials or a similar industry, as well as pool technicians looking to move from the tools into a sales and relationship-focused role.

About the Role

As a Sales Representative, you’ll manage and grow sales across the Gold Coast territory, working closely with pool builders, retailers, wholesalers and trade customers.

You’ll spend most of your time on the road visiting customers, job sites and branches, understanding their needs, providing product advice and identifying new business opportunities. You’ll be supported by our experienced sales, branch and internal teams, with full training provided across our product range.

What you’ll be doing

• Grow sales within the assigned territory and customer base
• Develop business with new prospects and re-engage dormant accounts
• Build long-term relationships with pool builders, retailers, and wholesalers
• Visit customers on site and in branch to understand their needs and recommend solutions
• Provide technical support and product knowledge to help customers succeed
• Follow up quotes, negotiate and close sales to achieve revenue and margin targets
• Collaborate with internal sales, warehouse, and operations teams to deliver excellent service
• Helping customers understand our diverse and full range of brand offerings: Davey, Waterco, Autopool

• Able to leverage CRM systems, Sales Force to plan and optimise customer visits, analyse data, optimise stocking
• Proven ability to meet targets and close sales
• Excellent customer service focus and strong listening skills
