Job description

Sales Manager
Triniteq POS | Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Perth | Full time

About us

Triniteq is an independent, growing Australian business helping hospitality venues run better with PowerEPOS and a range of integrated solutions. We are a lean, high performing team that punches well above its weight. Our software is proudly Australian made, our products are market leading, and we are continually innovating to create real value for our clients.

We are driven by integrity and authenticity in everything we do, from how we treat our team to how we look after our customers.

We are here to take on big tech. We work with some of Australia’s most prestigious hospitality organisations, as well as independent venues, and give our customers real choice, including the freedom to select the systems that suit them best.

The opportunity

The POS and payments industry in Australia has changed. Many hospitality groups and businesses are actively looking for a better deal, and that opens up a significant opportunity for a business like ours.

We are looking for a professional Sales Manager to help us make the most of it.

The role

This is a player coach role. You will lead from the front, winning deals yourself while building and leading your own sales team. This is your chance to make the sales department your own.

  • Recruit your own sales team, choosing the people you want to build success with
  • Lead, coach and develop your team to hit their targets
  • Manage your own pipeline, from first conversation through to close
  • Win and grow major accounts with large hospitality groups, as well as independent venues
  • Work closely with our payment and integration partners
  • Make full use of modern sales tools, including AI, to work smarter and help your team do the same
  • Keep the CRM (HubSpot) accurate and up to date, and report on pipeline and performance
  • Help shape our sales strategy as we grow
About you

Above all, we are looking for the right person, not just the right CV.

  • You are a sales pro. You have a proven track record of closing deals and managing a pipeline, and you know how to run a disciplined, professional sales process
  • You can sit in the big room and get the deal done. You are confident presenting to executives and decision makers at major hospitality groups, and you know how to navigate complex, high value deals through to close
  • You are resilient. Sales is tough, so you need to be tougher. There is a lot to learn and a lot to lead, and you thrive on the challenge rather than being knocked back by it
  • You are self motivated. You set high standards, drive your own results and don’t need to be pushed
  • You learn quickly. Our industry moves fast, and you pick up new products, integrations, tools and market changes with ease
  • You embrace new technology. You are excited by what AI and other modern tools can do for a sales team, and keen to put them to work
  • You are in it for the long haul. We want someone who will grow with us and help build something lasting
  • You are self aware. You know your strengths, and you are open about your limitations and willing to work on them
  • You lead without ego. You are as happy rolling up your sleeves as you are leading the team, and you put the team and the customer first
  • You thrive in a lean team. You are comfortable wearing a few hats, making decisions and getting things done without layers of process

Experience in hospitality technology sales is a strong advantage, as is experience recruiting and leading a successful sales team.

What we offer
  • An attractive base salary with uncapped commissions
  • Vehicle allowance, phone and laptop
  • Market leading, Australian made products you can be proud to sell
  • The chance to build your own team and shape the department your way
  • The opportunity to work with some of Australia’s most prestigious hospitality organisations
  • Access to new tools, including AI, and the freedom to try new approaches
  • A genuine opportunity to grow with the business
  • A supportive team where your contribution is seen and valued
