Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT seeks a solutions‑focused, relationship‑led Sales Manager to support its Retirement Living portfolio across Wagga Wagga and the ACT. You will guide older Australians through major lifestyle decisions, drive occupancy, and contribute to new development projects.

Based in Wagga Wagga or the ACT, you will meet residents, conduct tours, host events and steer resales and off‑the‑plan sales while collaborating with Operations, Marketing and Home Care teams.

Qualifications

• Proven consultative sales experience within retirement living, property, aged care, healthcare, real estate or similar relationship-led environment.
• Strong face-to-face sales capability with ability to convert opportunities.
• Excellent CRM discipline and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Guide residents and families through lifestyle decisions in Wagga Wagga and ACT villages.
• Conduct tours, host events and manage appointments and customer meetings.
• Support resales and off-the-plan sales activities to drive occupancy and growth.

We are seeking a solutions focused, relationship led Sales Manager to support our Retirement Living portfolio across Wagga Wagga and the ACT. This role offers the opportunity to guide older Australians through one of the most important lifestyle decisions of their lives while driving the success of both established communities and exciting new development projects.

Responsible for a portfolio comprising existing and future homes, you will play a critical role in protecting occupancy performance, supporting both resales and off the plan sales activities and helping customers confidently transition into retirement living.

About the role

Working across Wagga Wagga and the ACT you will spend most of your time in our villages, meeting with prospective residents and their families, conducting tours, hosting events and guiding customers through financial, contractual and care supports – (current/future).You will build trusted relationships within local communities, helping customers navigate complex decisions while ensuring they feel informed, supported and confident throughout their retirement living journey.

Working closely with Operations, Property, Marketing, Sales Administration and Home Care teams, you will help deliver exceptional customer experiences while achieving strong commercial outcomes. You will also play an important role in identifying customer needs and connecting residents to BaptistCare's broader Home Care and Support at Home services, supporting our integrated ageing model.

The role also provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our future communities through new build and off the plan sales activity.

Location & Travel

• Parttime 0.8 FTE (4 days per week)

• Based in either Wagga Wagga or the ACT

• Monday to Friday role with no regular weekend requirement

• Quarterly travel for sales and business meetings

• Monthly travel to the ACT (approximately three midweek days) as ACT responsibilities continue to expand or if based in ACT regular 3 day weekly presence in Wagga .

You are an experienced consultative sales professional who understands that trust comes before transactions.

You thrive in face to face environments, enjoy building meaningful relationships and can confidently guide people through complex decisions with empathy and professionalism.

You will bring

• Proven consultative sales experience within retirement living, property, aged care, healthcare, financial services, real estate or a similarly relationship led environment.

• Strong face to face sales capability and a demonstrated ability to convert opportunities into outcomes.

• Experience with, and comfort with off the plan sales

• Experience conducting presentations, tours, appointments and customer meetings.

• Confidence discussing financial matters, contracts and complex customer decisions.

• Strong CRM discipline and pipeline management capability.

• Community networking and referral generation experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• The ability to work autonomously while remaining connected to a broader team.

• Drivers license and car
