Job description

At Rauland Australia and New Zealand, we're passionate about creating technology that helps healthcare teams deliver safer, smarter and more connected care.

We're seeking an exceptional Territory Sales Manager to lead our South Australian business, driving commercial performance, developing people and building lasting partnerships.

This is a leadership opportunity for someone who combines commercial credibility with a proven ability to influence, inspire and deliver results. We're seeking a leader who leads from the front, builds trust quickly, drives accountability and creates momentum across both customers and teams. Someone who can grow markets, win new business, develop people and translate opportunity into sustainable commercial success.

You’ll combine strategic territory leadership with active customer engagement, building trusted relationships with executive, clinical, operational and technology stakeholders while driving revenue growth, new business acquisition, market expansion and long-term customer success.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact, shaping territory strategy, developing a high-performing team and playing a key role in advancing healthcare technology across South Australia.

The Opportunity

As Territory Sales Manager, you'll be accountable for the commercial success, growth and strategic direction of the South Australian territory.

Leading a team of Business Development Managers, you'll set the direction, build capability and foster a high-performance culture founded on accountability, collaboration and results. You'll drive growth through disciplined execution, strategic relationship development and a strong focus on new business acquisition, whilst elevating team performance and market presence across the state.

Equally important is your ability to stay close to the market. You'll personally lead strategic opportunities, strengthen executive relationships and engage confidently with healthcare leaders, C-suite executives, clinical stakeholders, ICT leaders, engineering teams and key commercial decision-makers.

This role will suit a genuine sales leader who can balance leadership with execution, developing people whilst creating opportunities, growing customer partnerships and delivering sustainable commercial outcomes.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Delivering territory revenue, margin, growth, new business acquisition and recurring revenue targets.
  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of Business Development Managers to achieve individual and team success.
  • Translating national sales strategy into clear local execution plans and market priorities.
  • Personally leading strategic customer opportunities and major commercial pursuits.
  • Building trusted relationships with executive, clinical, operational and technology stakeholders.
  • Driving new business acquisition, customer expansion and long-term partnership growth.
  • Leading commercial negotiations, presentations and complex solution-based sales engagements.
  • Maintaining strong forecasting discipline, pipeline governance and CRM excellence.
  • Identifying market opportunities and initiatives that support sustainable territory growth.
  • Partnering across Product, Customer Experience, Clinical, Projects and Service teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
What We’re Looking For

We're seeking an accomplished sales leader with a proven ability to influence people, build high-performing teams and deliver sustained commercial growth.

You’ll Bring
  • Demonstrated success leading sales teams, territories or regions within healthcare technology, ICT, enterprise technology, systems integration or another complex solution-selling environment.
  • Proven experience coaching, motivating and developing high-performing sales professionals.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including revenue growth, forecasting, pipeline management and complex negotiation.
  • Track record of winning new business and developing strategic customer relationships.
  • Executive presence and credibility engaging C-suite and senior decision-makers.
  • The ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence outcomes at all levels.
  • Established South Australian networks and the ability to build trusted relationships quickly.
  • Collaborative leadership style that balances accountability, performance and people development.
