The Opportunity

As Project Operations Manager, you’ll be accountable for the performance, governance and commercial success of a substantial healthcare technology project portfolio across VIC & TAS, overseeing a diverse mix of concurrent projects varying in scale, complexity, stakeholder profile and commercial value.

Leading a multidisciplinary team of Project Managers, Site Leaders and delivery professionals, you’ll bring visibility, structure and rhythm to a portfolio of complex projects while ensuring strong customer outcomes, sustainable financial performance and long-term growth.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Delivering project portfolio performance across revenue, margin, forecasting, customer outcomes and delivery excellence.

Leading, coaching and developing a team of Project Managers, Site Managers and delivery professionals.

Driving governance, contractual risk management, commercial discipline and claims resolution across a complex portfolio.

Building capability, accountability and a high-performance culture founded on collaboration and continuous improvement.

Strengthening resource planning, utilisation and operational efficiency across the territory.

Building trusted relationships with customers, healthcare leaders, consultants, builders, contractors, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

Driving forecasting accuracy, project visibility and portfolio reporting excellence.

Partnering with sales and commercial teams to ensure projects are commercially, operationally and strategically positioned for successful delivery from day one.

Improving systems, processes and ways of working to support future growth and scalability.

Contributing to strategic initiatives that strengthen delivery performance and customer value.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an accomplished project operations or delivery leader with a proven ability to lead and influence people, build high‑performing teams and deliver sustained commercial and operational success.

You will have led project portfolios and multidisciplinary delivery teams, rather than solely managing individual projects, bringing a broader operational and commercial perspective to project delivery.

You’ll bring:

Demonstrated success leading complex project portfolios within healthcare technology, systems integration, ICT infrastructure, building automation, security technology, smart buildings, commercial construction environments or similar delivery sectors.

Proven hands‑on leadership experience coaching, motivating and developing high‑performing project and operational teams.

Strong commercial acumen across forecasting, revenue, margin management, governance and project risk.

A track record of delivering complex projects while maintaining strong customer relationships and commercial outcomes.

Executive presence and credibility engaging customers, consultants, contractors and senior stakeholders.

The ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence outcomes at all levels.

Experience operating within dynamic, evolving businesses where growth, change and adaptability are essential.

A collaborative leadership style that balances accountability, performance and people development.
