Job summary

WIN Television Network is seeking a proactive Sales Professional to maximize revenue by selling television advertising and the 9 NOW digital platform across the Canberra market. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, develop new business, and work closely with the Sales Manager to meet strategic goals.

The role requires strong relationship-building, outstanding communication, and solid time management. A valid driver’s licence and vehicle are essential for site visits and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Prior sales or account management experience is preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to build relationships with a diverse client base.
• Accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Hold unrestricted drivers’ licence and have access to a suitable vehicle.

About The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Professional to kick start or re-invigorate their career in media. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the primary focus of the Sales Executive is to maximise revenue through the selling of Total Television solutions consisting of advertising airtime, and utilizing our 9 NOW digital platform.

You will act as an integral team member responsible for assisting in the contribution to the achievements of the company’s strategic goals and operational objectives. You will manage a diverse client portfolio and be responsible for the development of new business within the market by developing and extending the relationships with current and new clients.

About You

To be the successful candidate, you will have:

• Previous sales representative or account management experience is ideal but not required.
• Experience in building strong relationships with a diverse customer base.
• Accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate in a team environment, contributing positively to the operations and working relationships.
• Ability to contribute ideas and demonstration initiative and flexibility.
• Demonstrated positive work ethic and the ability and willingness to learn new systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Hold unrestricted drivers’ licence and suitable vehicle for the role.
