Job summary

BYD Hornsby is hiring a Sales Consultant to join our EV-focused team in the showroom. You will engage customers with demonstrations, understand needs, and guide them through the purchase journey from inquiry to test drive, while maintaining CRM records and delivering exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have car sales experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for sustainable technology. Weekend availability and owning a valid driver's license are preferred for success in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Current Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Proven experience in car sales is ideal, but we will support you in becoming an expert.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic about technology and sustainable solutions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers on the showroom floor, providing in-depth information and demonstrations of our electric vehicle range.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and returning customers, following up on leads to drive sales.
• Understand customers’ needs and budget to recommend suitable vehicles, highlighting key features and benefits.
• Stay updated on new models and industry trends to enrich customer interactions.
• Guide customers through the sales process from inquiry to purchase, including test drives and CRM documentation.
• Deliver exceptional service before, during, and after the sale, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Meet individual and team sales targets, actively participating in sales meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with marketing activities, promotions, and product launches.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery, providing a detailed orientation on operation and maintenance.

About You

• Current Driver's License and a good driving record

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. We operate on a 5-day work week.
