Job summary

Compare Club is hiring a Sales Consultant for our St Kilda Road team in Melbourne. You will engage high-volume calls to help Australians reduce utility costs, guided by warm leads and full onboarding.

With quarterly salary reviews and an uncapped commission structure, success is rewarded as you build rapport and close high-quality leads in a fast-paced, office-based setting.

Qualifications

• At least 6–12 months in a target-driven environment (e.g., retail, call centre, or similar).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle objections clearly.
• Comfort working in a high-volume sales environment.
• Numerical skills to compare bills and identify best value for customers.
• Reliable and motivated with a drive to hit KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Dial outbound calls to engage customers actively seeking to reduce utility costs.
• Conduct needs-based analyses to recommend competitive plans and providers.
• Confidently handle objections using product knowledge and sales expertise.
• Manage daily call volume to meet targets and quality benchmarks.
• Participate in coaching and feedback sessions to sharpen skills.

The Role

As a Sales Consultant, you are the bridge between a customer’s need and the right solution. You will:

• Dial outbound calls to engage with customers who are actively seeking to reduce their utility costs.
• Conduct a needs-based analysis to recommend the most competitive plans and providers.
• Confidently handle objections by using your product knowledge and sales expertise
• Efficiently manage your daily call volume to meet targets/KPI’s, and quality benchmarks.
• Participate in coaching and feedback sessions to refine your skills.
