Job summary

James Lane | Sleeping Giant is seeking a Sales Attendant to support customers in-store at our Perth showroom. This full-time, on-site role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, and recommending furniture and bedding solutions that fit their home, style and budget.

You will process sales, returns, and payments, maintain displays, and ensure the showroom remains inviting. Availability for weekends and public holidays is required.

Role Description

The Sales Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Perth, WA, supporting customers throughout their in-store journey. This role involves greeting and engaging customers, understanding their needs, and recommending furniture and bedding solutions that align with their style, budget, and home requirements. The Sales Attendant will demonstrate product features, maintain well-presented displays, and ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and inviting. Daily tasks include processing sales and returns, handling payment transactions, updating stock information, and coordinating with other team members to meet store targets. The role also requires following company policies and procedures, staying up to date with product ranges and promotions, and contributing to a positive, supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales skills, including the ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Retail and point-of-sale experience, with competency in handling cash, processing transactions accurately, and managing basic store administration.
