Job summary

Profusion, a fast-growing financial technology business, is seeking a Sales Associate to join the Sydney team. You will work directly with business owners and decision-makers to help them access funding solutions that support growth.

You will convert inbound and outbound leads, manage the sales cycle from enquiry to close, and maintain a robust CRM pipeline. Collaborating with marketing and senior leadership, you will build knowledge of SME lending and business finance in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in sales, customer service or a client-facing commercial role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
• Commercially minded with an interest in business and finance.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

Responsibilities

• Converting inbound and outbound leads into funded opportunities.
• Managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to close.
• Identifying and qualifying high-potential commercial opportunities.
• Conducting discovery calls, product demonstrations and client meetings.
• Maintaining a disciplined and accurate pipeline within the CRM.
• Working closely with marketing and senior sales leadership.
• Developing market knowledge across SME lending and business finance.
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members as your experience grows.
