Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company Ltd is seeking a part-time Sales Assistant for our Penrith store. The role covers 16 hours over 4 days, including weekends on a rota, with some early mornings.

You will help customers, maintain store standards, and assist with stock and deliveries while learning our Epos till system. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, be comfortable with basic merchandising, and stay informed on product features and benefits.

Qualifications

• Provide high levels of customer service and sales assistance.
• Maintain store appearance and clear product presentation.
• Assist with stock replenishment and receiving deliveries.

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 42 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional recruit to the sales assistant team in our store at Penrith.

The position offered is: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation
