Job summary

DK Fabrics is seeking a Part-Time Sales Assistant in Hindmarsh, SA to support daily retail operations with a focus on helping customers, stocking shelves, and delivering friendly service in a busy fabric store.

You will join a small, supportive team and gain product knowledge in fabrics, sewing, and crafts while delivering excellent customer experiences across Monday to Saturday 10:00am–5:00pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service.
• Experience in fabric retail, sewing, or crafts is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, helpful, and customer-focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge.
• Reliable with attention to detail.
• Ability to work across Monday–Saturday 10:00am–5:00pm.

Established over 30 years ago, DK Fabrics is a proudly family-owned and operated fabric retailer based in Hindmarsh. Our large 1,800m² store is one of the most well-known destinations for fabrics, sewing supplies, and craft materials in South Australia.

We are passionate about providing high-quality products and exceptional customer service, and we are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our friendly and experienced team.

About the Role

We are seeking a Part-Time Sales Assistant to support day-to-day retail operations. This is a customer-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and has an interest in fabrics, sewing, or crafts.

You will be part of a supportive team, helping customers find the right products while contributing to the smooth running of the store.
