Job summary

City of Whittlesea is seeking a Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner to support the Infrastructure and Environment Directorate. You will mitigate risks associated with maintenance, capital delivery, asset management and external works, acting as the conduit between safety management systems and on-ground practices.

You will lead safety reviews, develop risk controls, and influence safety culture across council teams. This full-time role offers wellbeing programs and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety and wellbeing programs.
• Strong communication with managers and staff.
• Ability to analyze safety data and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety advice and monitor the safe delivery of work.
• Develop safety reports and lead directorate safety forums.
• Support the review and development of safe systems of work.
• Conduct local risk assessments and support the implementation of operational risk controls.
• Analyze trends and deliver safety improvement initiatives.
