Kapitol is seeking a Safety Continuous Improvement & Capability Advisor to translate lessons from incidents into practical training, tools and initiatives across its project portfolio in Melbourne. You’ll design and deliver safety training (face-to-face and online), identify capability gaps, and embed changes with site teams to improve behaviours and outcomes.

This role requires strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement across multiple sites.

Formación

• Strong background in Safety, training, capability or continuous improvement within construction or another high-risk environment.
• Experience designing and delivering practical Safety training.
• Strong understanding of incident investigations, corrective actions and lessons learned.
• Ability to translate technical Safety information into clear, engaging and practical learning.
• Confident facilitator who can engage everyone from site teams through to senior leaders.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
• Practical, curious and improvement-focused mindset.
• Comfortable working across multiple sites and project teams.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment highly regarded
• WHS qualification highly regarded
• Construction experience strongly preferred

Responsabilidades

• Roaming member of the Safety team across Kapitol projects.
• Translate learnings from incidents into practical training, guidance and improvement initiatives.
• Design, develop and deliver Safety training both face-to-face and online.
• Identify capability gaps and training needs across project teams.
• Work directly with site teams to embed changes into everyday behaviours and ways of working.
• Develop learning material, workshops, briefings and practical tools for different audiences.
• Track whether improvement initiatives are being embedded and having the intended impact.
• Identify recurring themes and opportunities for broader Safety improvement.
• Support continuous improvement of Safety systems, processes and capability across the business
