The Star Brisbane is seeking Safety & Security Officers to join its world-class hospitality destination in the heart of Brisbane. This is a part-time role designed for individuals who thrive in busy environments and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining safety and security across the venue.

We offer comprehensive training, a fresh uniform, dining discounts, and parking benefits. The role requires security qualifications and flexibility to work a 24/7 roster, including weekends

Competenze

• Essential: QLD Security License and crowd control module.
• Essential: Senior First Aid with CPR; include SCC.
• Experience in high-volume environments is preferred.

• Maintain safety and security across The Star Brisbane venue.
• Respond to incidents and manage crowd flow professionally.
• Uphold grooming standards and professional appearance; stand for extended periods.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications in Responsible Service of Alcohol, QLD Certificate 2 or 3 in Security Operations, including a Crowd Control module & Current Senior First Aid Certificate, including CPR module - essential
• Current QLD Security License - essential
• Previous experience in high volume crowd control - highly regarded
• A high standard of grooming with a professional appearance
• Physically capable and have the ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
